Crandall Selected for NAR Cmte.

UCAR’s 2013 President, Dean Crandall, is pleased to have been selected to serve on the NAR Diversity Committee.
The NAR looked to gather a strong team to continue sharing the important message that homeownership matters and focus on helping REALTORS® “Reach for Success,” the 2013 national theme. The Diversity Committee is specifically charged with the task to promote equal opportunity, to identify the concerns of minority members, and promote changes that reflect the growing cultural diversity within the United States, among other priorities.
The committee is made up of 41 NAR members from across the country, including representatives from the Housing Opportunity Committee, the Young Professionals Network Advisory Board, Asian Real Estate Association of American, and the National Association of Real Estate Professionals.
Dean will serve on this NAR Committee for 2013 while he serves as UCAR’s Board President. For Dean, the stability of his real estate career path over the past decade has certainly been the most rewarding. Throughout the past two-plus decades, Dean has learned how to listen to his clients, colleagues, and friends—because every colleague is a friend. He has learned empathy and questioning skills to find out what is most important to each person around him to ensure those he serves get what he or she wants and needs.
